Bourbon and Peach Cocktail

July 5, 2013 by Alyssa

bourbon peach cocktail

Bourbon and peaches are a perfect match, and this cocktail brings them together for a refreshing summer drink.  I used peach slices and lime to garnish this one, but I wish I’d had a sprig of rosemary.  That would have taken it to a whole different level!

Love the combination of bourbon and peach?  Try it for dessert or for breakfast, too!

Bourbon and Peach Cocktail

1 part bourbon
2 parts peach nectar or peach puree
2 parts lemon-lime soda
1 lime wedge
fresh peach slices or a rosemary sprig for garnish (optional)

Combine bourbon and peach nectar in a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake and strain into a highball glass.  Add soda, squeeze the lime and add it to the glass.  Garnish and enjoy!
